Venice and Chioggia Ports in Rotterdam to showcase Their Excellence in the Breakbulk Sector

The Veneto Port System will be in Rotterdam from 16 to 18 June to take part in Breakbulk Europe, the leading European trade fair dedicated to the breakbulk cargo sector, and, in particular, to project cargo.

Over the years, Breakbulk Europe has established itself as one of the world’s premier industry events, bringing together all key stakeholders involved in the sector. This year’s edition is expected to welcome around 700 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors.

Given the sector’s importance for the ports of Venice and Chioggia, and with the aim of strengthening relationships with customers while updating them on the latest developments in the ports’ service offering, the stand, coordinated and managed by the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority, will host around twenty-five operators, including shipping agents, freight forwarders, logistics providers and terminal operators, alongside the Port Authority’s technical staff.

Located in Hall 2, alongside the world’s leading players in the sector, the stand will serve as a venue for B2B meetings and networking opportunities, as well as a platform to showcase the main best practices and most significant and distinctive cargo-handling operations of 2026.

Heavy-lift and oversized cargoes—highly engineered products characterized by exceptional weight and dimensions—represent a particularly valuable sector for the ports of Venice and Chioggia. This segment generates significant economic and employment benefits, as it requires highly specialised operators with advanced expertise and know-how.

We look forward to welcoming you at stand 2D51!
