In order to carry out or have work done involving the use of open flames in the port area, including work on structures in the water that are solidly connected to the seabed, with a continuous or non-continuous nature, the client or the company with concessions for areas and/or docks must follow the following procedures.
Occasional Interventions
Class A and Class B
For occasional interventions, notify the start of the activity to the Port Authority (NASPA) by completing the form (A or B) and sending it via certified email (PEC) to the AdSP at the address adspmas@port.venice.it, with a copy to the email address adspmas.sicurezza@port.venice.it.
- for occasional interventions of Class A, no authorization from the AdSP is required, but the above notification is sufficient.
- for occasional interventions of Class B, in addition to the above notification, an instructive process is required to obtain authorization from the NASPA.
Annual Interventions
For annual interventions, request the annual authorization by sending an application with a €16.00 stamp duty to the Port System Authority – Safety, Surveillance, and Control Area, Building 13, 30123 Venice, specifying:
- the companies that will carry out the activity
- the areas
- and/or docks under concession
The AdSP will communicate the issuance of the annual authorization to the interested party.
