Request authorization to work in port
Companies that intend to carry out their activities in the port sector must be authorized by the Port Authority.
In order to obtain authorization it is necessary to submit an application to the NASPA.
Depending on the type of activity you intend to carry out, a different application must be submitted.
The subjects to whom authorization is issued to operate in the port area are:
Concessionary port companies that carry out, organize and manage directly, by virtue of the ownership of a maritime state concession issued pursuant to art. 18 of Law 84/94 and subsequent amendments. of maritime areas and quays, the set of port operations and services relating to the port operations cycle.
Non-concessionary port companies on behalf of third parties: the subjects who, equipped with an instrumental complex of men and means of which they assume the management and responsibility, carry out port operations, through a procurement contract.
Companies that carry out particular specialist port services, complementary and ancillary to the cycle of port operations provided at the request of the parties authorized to carry out port operations (The list of services is established by the AdSP ordinance).
Companies that carry out activities for ships, goods and passengers (art.68 Nav. Code)
Companies that carry out storage and handling of goods in private areas or in state-owned areas within the port area.
Professions of employee, companion or tour guide at the Passenger Terminal.
