The meeting Italian Cruise Day on tour will be held on Friday, June 20th in Chioggia at Darsena le Saline (Sailing Pier) and it is organized by the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority, the Municipality of Chioggia in cooperation with Risposte Turismo, besides representing a part of the ADRIJOROUTES project.
Speakers include the Mayor of the Municipality of Chioggia, Mauro Armelao the Captain of the Harbourmaster of Chioggia Alessio Palmisano, the President of the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority, Fulvio Lino Di Blasio, Theodora Riga, President of MedCruise (online).
A technical-scientific presentation by Francesco di Cesare, President of Risposte Turismo, will follow. Di cesare will present the real picture of cruise traffic in Italy and the Mediterranean Sea, enriched by insights related to cruising and small cruising in the specific territorial context of Chioggia.
Indeed, two round tables moderated by Anthony La Salandra, Director of Risposte Turismo – are foreviewed:
Interventions and projects for an increasingly competitive port offer, dedicated to exploring interventions and projects fostering a more competitive port offer, featuring contributions from Alessandra Grosso, General Director of Venete Infrastrutture, Alejandro Gutierrez, Architect at ARUP, Paolo Menegazzo, Head of Planning Area of the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority, Giovanni Terranova, Technical Director of the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority.
Small cruising, river and large yachts will focus on small cruising as a segment to invest in and will include: Federica Bosello, Head of Promotion, Communication and Institutional Relations of the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority and representative of Adrijoroutes project, Francesco Galietti as the Director Italy CLIA Europe, Matteo Montebelli, Research and Publications Manager of Italian Touring Club, Filippo Olivetti, Executive Chairman of Sviluppo Laguna, Roberto Perocchio, President of Assomarinas.
