On September 16 and 17, the Ports of Venice and Chioggia were represented at Seatrade Cruise Med, held at Las Palmas Cruise Port, as part of the Assoporti collective stand.
The event brought together the main stakeholders of the Mediterranean cruise industry, including cruise lines, ports, destinations, excursion operators, shipyards, and service and technology providers. It provided an important opportunity to exchange views on the ongoing transformation of the sector, port-city relations, and the development of resilient and sustainable infrastructure.
The fair offered an opportunity to show the services and opportunities offered by the Ports of Venice and Chioggia, strengthen relations with international industry stakeholders, and contribute to the discussion on the future of cruising in the Mediterranean.
It was also a valuable opportunity to discuss the transformation of the sector and the new perspectives for cruise tourism in the Mediterranean.
