The Directorate, made up of seven areas, deals with the search for new strategic development opportunities for the Port of Venice.
Competency of the Structure
The Strategic Planning and Development Directorate focuses on identifying new port development opportunities and, in coordination with other Directorates within the Authority, outlines the strategic development plans for the Port of Venice. It studies the optimization of flows and transportation methods relevant to port infrastructure and manages the procedural aspects of authorizing port-related projects, traffic development, logistics, and Intermodality. Additionally, it handles activities related to the promotion, communication, and institutional relationships of the Authority, manages/develops ICT, and seeks financing (European, national, and regional) for the implementation of port-related projects of interest.
