The North Adriatic Sea Port Authority, a founding member of the Via Querinissima Association, takes part in the international conference and certification ceremony marking the recognition of Via Querinissima as a Cultural Route of the Council of Europe, taking place on 6 November at Palazzo Ducale in Venice.
The event brings together representatives of institutions, the Council of Europe, the research community and the territories along the route to explore the value of cultural routes as tools for knowledge-sharing, fostering connections and promoting Europe’s cultural heritage.
During the session dedicated to identities, local policies and infrastructure, Federica Bosello, Head of the Promotion, Communications and External Relations Unit of the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority, speaks on the topic of “The Ports of Venice and Chioggia: Maritime Heritage and European Connections”, highlighting the links between the lagoon ports, the history of the surrounding areas and the relationships forged through the sea.
