  5. SU E ZO PER...

SU E ZO PER I PONTI

The short route of the traditional Venetian walking event started again from the waterfront of Santa Marta, where on Sunday 14th April the reception area and the refreshment point were set up. The starting line, crossed by over 3000 participants, was entertained by two folk groups coming from outside Venice.
The Port System Authority, and the “team” of the Port Community coordinated by it, have always worked to support the event and ensure the safe running of all operations, including the passage of the long route, with as many participants, through the Santa Marta and San Basilio area.
By the name of “Su e Zo per il Porto”, this important collaboration between the organizers, the authority, and the port community is strengthened year after year, confirming how the port and the city souls are intrinsically linked and that mutual support represents a strength point.
The large family of institutions and operators actively involved in the success of the initiative includes the Harbor Master’s Office, the Finance Police, the Border Police, the Customs Agency, the terminal VTP, the agencies, and other services to ships, and “Camplus”, which for the second year opened the doors of the Hummus venue to welcome participants, volunteers, staff, students, and citizens.
