North Adriatic Sea Port Authority participates in the seminar promoted by the Propeller Club – Port of Venice on “Green Shipping: a Maritime puzzle – An insight into the main technological solutions

Acknowledging that green transition in shipping is  a main concern for maritime-port operators, The International Propeller Club-Port of Venice, with the support of Lloyd’s Register, has organized a meeting dedicated to the topic, entitled “Green Shipping: a Maritime puzzle – An insight into the main technological solutions”. The meeting will take place on 7 March 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Belstay Hotel in Mestre and will be opened by the Club President lawyer Anna Carnielli, followed by the President of the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority, Fulvio Lino Di Blasio, and the Director of Veneto’s Maritime Department, Admiral Filippo Marini, who will each deliver a speech. Representatives from the private sector engaged in the green shipping transition will also take the floor, including: Michele Francioni – MSC Cruise Chief Energy Transition Officer, Gianpaolo Dalla Vedova – Country Company Leader at Lloyd’s Register, Pierpaolo Da Fieno – Managing Director of MAN Energy Solutions. Also representatives from the academic and research community will participate, namely: Vittorio Bucci – Associate Professor at UniTS, Luca Braidotti – Lecturer/Researcher at UniTS, and Valentina Bortuzzo – PhD candidate at UniTS.
