The North Adriatic Sea Port Authority, represented by Alessandra Libardo, Head of Urban Planning, presented the ongoing projects within the Veneto Port System at the conference entitled “Cities and Ports”, held at Spazio Thetis in the Arsenale of Venice. The event is promoted by the National Council of Engineers (CNI), CeNSU and the Order of Engineers of Venice, as part of the Architecture Biennale.
The aim of the meeting was to explore how engineering can contribute to the regeneration and sustainable development of port and urban areas, strengthening dialogue between institutions, professionals and local communities.
The conference was preceded by a technical visit to the Italian Pavilion of the Venice Biennale, led by architect and academic Guendalina Salimei, curator of the Italian Pavilion, and focusing on themes of architecture, regeneration and innovation.
