How to request a permit to occasionally access the port areas of Venice and Chioggia.

To occasionally access the port areas it is necessary to have a temporary access permit. This permit does not authorize access to the operational areas of the port companies (except for special authorizations from the concessionaire port company) nor on board the ships.

The temporary access permit can be valid for a maximum of 10 days and can be requested for both the port areas of Marghera, Marittima and Venice (S. Marta, S. Andrea and S. Basilio).

However, it is not necessary for pedestrians who, in Venice, access the areas indicated above.
