Maritime connections with Greece increase

Maritime connections with Greece increase: Grimaldi lines strengthens the fleet of ferries on the Venice-Igoumenitsa-Patras route with twice-weekly frequency

Good news for those who are travelling from Venice to Greece: the Ro/Pax service Venice-Igoumenitsa-Patras can count now on a twice-weekly frequency, departing every Wednesday and Saturday from the Venice Ro Port Mos terminal of Fusina, every Monday and Thursday from Patras to Venice, and everyTuesday and Friday from Igoumenitsa to Venice.

The Ro/Pax Venezia is a state of the art ferry. It guarantees a larger transport capacity both for cargo and passengers thanks to a load capacity of 2,250 linear metres (about 130 trucks), capable of boarding up to 1,000 passengers and 200 cars.

In this way, the total fleet of Ro/Ro and Ro/Pax ferries employed by Grimaldi gets to seven units, allowing the Port of Venice to offer even five weekly departures for Greece.
