The port of Venice presents its best practices on " Soil remediation, industrial conversion and port development"to the Western China International Fair (WCIF)

The North Adriatic Sea Port Authority will participates to the 17th edition of the Western China International Fair (WCIF), as part of an Italian Delegation. The initiative, organized by the Italian Consulate with the collaboration of the Italian Embassy in Beijing, ITA – Italian Trade Agency, Italian Chamber of Commerce in China and the Sichuan Authorities,  will be held in Chengdu (Sichuan) from 20 to 24 September.
For the 2018 edition, confirming the relevance of one of the most important international exhibitions in South-West China, Italy will serve as the Guest Country of Honor: more than 60 enterprises in the field of technology and innovation, industry 4.0, health and environmental issues.
For the Port of Venice it is a further opportunity to strengthen its relations with China: Venice will be presented in the Sino-Italy Forum on Circular Economy as a model to be imitated for the soil remediation, industrial conversion and port development, with areas transformed into high performance port-logistics terminal with excellent road and rail connections to the TenT main transport Corridors.
