The Port of Venice is now associated to ALIS (Associazione Logistica dell'Intermodalità Sostenibile), an Association which gathers the best companies engaged in the development of intermodality and sustainable transport.
Venice is indeed one of the most sustainable and intermodal ports in Italy, thanks to the coordinated maritime and rail transport, and the only one with an inland waterway mode.
On the 17th of July the Port of Venice will join in the ALIS conference in Naples, which will focus on the evolution of transport and logistics aimed at the recovery of companies in the South through island, continental and European cabotage.

Among the participants are the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Del Rio and Guido Grimaldi, President ALIS.
