
Breakbulk Europe 2018
The Port of Venice is confirmed as one of the most important breakbulk hubs in Europe, recording a 35% increase in 2017.
From 29 to 31 May, the venetian port will be present in Bremen at Breakbulk Europe 2018, one of the most important European fairs that focuses on the breakbulk sector. The venetian delegation will be present with a booth in Hall 5 - Stand 1459 and will be coordinated by the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority. The booth will see the participation of several operators of Venice and Chioggia’s ports that will take advantage of a great number of scheduled business meetings.
This year’s programme will consist of a dedicated event focusing on the european perspectives of the breakbulk sector that will take place at the Port of Venice booth and that will see the speeches of representatives of the major shipping companies. This event will be followed by the ceremony of the "Venice Breakbulk Award" presented by the President of AdSPMAS, Mr Pino Musolino, that will reward three shipping companies chosen on the basis of the investments made in recent years in the Port.
